We are a company specialized in the development, production, and sale of high-quality food supplements, and we are looking for an experienced and innovation-driven R&D Manager to join our team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading the development of new food supplement formulations (capsules, tablets, powders, liquids, gummies, etc.)
- Managing R&D projects from concept to commercialization in line with client and market requirements
- Developing prototypes and optimizing formulations for stability, taste, and manufacturability
- Conducting pilot trials and ensuring smooth transfer of new products to production
- Collaborating with Production, Quality, and Regulatory departments to ensure compliance and efficient scale-up
- Researching new ingredients, technologies, and market trends to support innovation
- Preparing and maintaining product documentation (formulas, specifications, test results, and technical files)
- Managing and mentoring the R&D team (scientists, technologists, and lab staff)
- Supporting the Sales and Business Development teams with technical input during client projects
- Coordinating with Procurement and Quality on ingredient qualification and supplier evaluation
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and relevant food supplement regulations
- Participating in cost optimization, process improvement, and continuous innovation initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- Ideally 3–5 years of experience in R&D or Product Development within the food supplement, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of formulation science and manufacturing processes for dietary supplements
- Understanding of functional ingredients, excipients, and their technological properties
- Familiarity with food supplement regulations, labeling requirements, and quality standards
- Experience in managing projects and leading technical teams
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Active knowledge of English (written and spoken)
